Please note: On our message board, forms and chat, we do keep track of your IP address. We do this as we have had issues were people have abused and/or caused issues of a questionable nature on our site especially via these semi-public forums.

All computers on the Internet (both servers and the machine you're currently sitting at) have Internet Protocol addresses. This is a unique number to you that allows website security monitors to track you back should there be an issue. For example, your address is 38.107.191.106 and IF we needed, we can look at our date/time/IP logs (the current date is Thursday, 29-Jul-2010 23:18:44 EDT) and match an IP to the log to trace a person using a "Reverse DNS Lookup".

If the situation is REALLY bad, we will contact the ISP that the problem is occurring from and report the IP and show our log of the actions of the user. An ISP can respond to the user doing a range from simply a warning, having the offending user's access suspended or disabled or possibly, for very bad attacks, police or legal action.

We keep the IP and "pages surfed" logs for exactly 30 days before deleting them and we assure you ANY information collected this way is STRICTLY for the webmaster and server-side workers at this site and is not used for anything OTHER than this sites security.
